Autumnal Blues

Its that time of year again and wedding season is coming to an end! With the colder days and darker nights comes one or two positives, our Autumn menu for 2011 is on its way and our annual Apple and Ale festival is fast approaching.

This year the festival will have more of a musical element. We plan to erect our largest marquee to house the real ales and ciders leaving the barn free for musical treats.

Morris dancing and mumming will also take place during the weekend!

Giltrap Success

Thanks to Gordon Giltrap's charity gig at the Fleece on Easter weekend the Tracey Sollis Leukemia Trust has been able to pay for 2 hand held Dopplers - these are for difficult to locate veins and will help reduce patient trauma often experienced along with 2 oximeters which constantly monitor a patients condition.

These items will make a tremendous difference to patient safety and care, Gordon will be performing again at the Fleece next year. See you then!!

The Sun is Here!!

Finally some sunshine at the Fleece Inn!

Things are really hotting up now, our new Spring Asparagus menu kicks in on April 23rd and plans for this years Asparagus Festival day are coming together well.

Only two weeks left of Pie and Pint night before we change to our summer special....all will be revealed.
